Description

DAY 1 – ORIGIN / MEDELLÍN: Arrival in Medellín, known as the city of eternal spring. Transfer from the airport to your hotel. Accommodation.


Duration: Approximately 1 hour.


Note: Arrival transfers are subject to nighttime service for flights between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Transfers are scheduled for daytime; nighttime transfers must be quoted.


DAY 2 – MEDELLÍN (City Tour): At the scheduled time, meet with one of our representatives in the hotel lobby to begin a wonderful panoramic tour of Medellín. We will begin in the prestigious Poblado district, the city's financial, hotel, and commercial center. We will visit Nutibara Hill, at the top of which stands a replica of a typical Antioquian town. Continuing our panoramic tour, we'll appreciate the Botanical Garden, Explora Park, Desires Park, Barefoot Park, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and finally arrive at Botero Square, where we'll find 23 of the exotic outdoor bronze sculptures donated by Colombian artist Fernando Botero. During the tour, you'll also ride the Medellín Metro, a model for mobility in Latin America. At the end of the tour, return to your hotel.


Includes: Specialized transportation, tour guide, visit to the Paisa village, tour of Botero Square, and ride on the metro and cable car.

DAY 3 – MEDELLÍN / CARTAGENA DE INDIAS: Breakfast. At the scheduled time, transfer from your hotel to the Medellín airport for your flight to "La Heroica" (airfare not included). Arrival in Cartagena, also known as the "Corralito de Piedra" (the stone corral), reception, and transfer from Rafael Núñez Airport to your chosen hotel. Check-in and accommodations will be provided.


Note: For departure transfers, night transfers apply between 11:00 PM and 9:00 AM. For arrival transfers to Cartagena, they apply for flights between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Rates are for daytime transfers; for night transfers, a supplement applies (consult your advisor).


DAY 4 - CARTAGENA (City Tour with San Felipe Castle): At the scheduled time, meet with one of our representatives in the hotel lobby to begin a wonderful tour of this museum city, whose streets and surroundings showcase the charm of its architecture, a blend of colonial, republican, and modern styles. During the tour, you'll pass through the modern Bocagrande district and continue through the Manga neighborhood, where the contrast between the Republican architecture and its modern buildings will amaze you. You'll then visit the emblematic San Felipe de Barajas Castle, built in 1657. Of course, a short walk through the city's historic center is a must-see. In 1984, along with San Felipe Castle and the complex of fortifications, it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, along with San Felipe Castle and the entire fortifications. To conclude the tour and before returning to your hotel, taking advantage of your stay in the country that produces the world's highest-quality emeralds, you'll visit the Emerald Museum. There, you'll learn about the evolution of the rarest, most valuable, and most exclusive mineral in the world.

DAY 5 - CARTAGENA (Beach Day): Breakfast. Departing from Muelle La Bodeguita by speedboat to the included island, you can enjoy coral beaches and a variety of reef fauna, ideal for relaxing or taking part in optional activities such as diving, snorkeling, hiking, and more. Below, you can find details about each island:


San Pedro de Majagua: Located on Isla Grande, 45 km from the city of Cartagena, it is one of the 31 islands that make up the Rosario National Natural Park. After a one-hour speedboat ride, you will arrive at this magical place of rest and relaxation. It offers two access points to the sea, one a little quieter and quieter than the other, depending on your preference. While on-site, you can take part in optional activities such as relaxing massages, hikes, mangrove tours, a visit to the Aquarium, diving, snorkeling, and more.


Includes: Hotel-pier-to-hotel transfers, shared boat transportation (non-exclusive), welcome cocktail, lunch (entrance fee, main course, soft drink, and dessert), and dock tax.

DAY 6 - CARTAGENA DE INDIAS / DESTINATION: Breakfast. On your last day of travel before returning home, make sure you pack the best souvenirs. At the scheduled time, transfer from your hotel to the Cartagena airport for your flight to your home city.
