DAY 1 - ORIGIN / BOGOTÁ: Arrival in Bogotá, Colombia's multicultural capital. Assistance at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation.

DAY 2 - BOGOTÁ (City tour with Monserrate): Breakfast. Today, you'll explore Bogotá's historic center accompanied by one of our representatives, who will meet you in the hotel lobby to take you downtown. The walking tour begins at Plaza de Bolívar. We'll visit the surrounding streets and admire buildings such as the National Capitol, the center of Congress and an architectural gem of Bogotá; the Casa de los Comuneros (House of the Comuneros), the Santa Clara Church-Museum; and the Casa de Nariño (House of Nariño), the seat of the Presidency and the birthplace of Antonio Nariño, a precursor to Colombian independence. We'll visit the Gold Museum, whose architecture references indigenous cosmology and houses some 34,000 pieces of goldsmithing from various pre-Hispanic cultures. Now, we'll prepare to be 3,152 meters closer to the stars and explore the majestic Monserrate Hill, a silent watchtower over Bogotá. It houses the sanctuary where the image of the Fallen Lord of Monserrate is venerated. Descent and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure and accommodation.


Notes:


The Gold Museum is closed every Monday, so visits to the Botero Museum and the Casa de la Moneda are available.


On Sundays, the tour with ascent to Monserrate operates subject to availability and upon request.

DAY 3 - BOGOTÁ / CARTAGENA DE INDIAS: Breakfast. At the scheduled time, transfer from the hotel to the Bogotá airport for a flight to "La Heroica" (airfare not included). Arrival in Cartagena, also known as the "Corralito de Piedra" (the stone corral), reception, and transfer from Cartagena's Rafael Núñez Airport to the selected hotel. Check-in and accommodation.

DAY 4 - CARTAGENA (City Tour with San Felipe Castle): At the scheduled time, meet with one of our representatives in the hotel lobby to begin a wonderful tour of this museum city, whose streets and surroundings showcase the charm of its architecture, a blend of colonial, republican, and modern styles. During the tour, you'll pass through the modern Bocagrande district and continue through the Manga neighborhood, where the contrast between the Republican architecture and its modern buildings will amaze you. You'll then visit the emblematic San Felipe de Barajas Castle, built in 1657. Of course, a short walk through the city's historic center is a must-see. In 1984, along with San Felipe Castle and the complex of fortifications, it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, along with San Felipe Castle and the entire fortifications. To conclude the tour and before returning to your hotel, taking advantage of your stay in the country that produces the world's highest-quality emeralds, you'll visit the Emerald Museum. There, you'll learn about the evolution of the rarest, most valuable, and most exclusive mineral in the world.

DAY 5 - CARTAGENA (Beach Day): Breakfast. Depart from Muelle La Bodeguita by speedboat to the included island. There, you can enjoy coral beaches and a variety of reef fauna, ideal for relaxing or participating in optional activities such as diving, snorkeling, hiking, and more. Below, you can find details about each island:


San Pedro de Majagua: Located on Isla Grande, 45 km from Cartagena, this island is part of the 31 islands that make up the Rosario National Natural Park. After a one-hour speedboat ride, you will arrive at this magical place of rest and relaxation. It offers two access points to the sea, one a little quieter and quieter than the other, depending on your preference. While there, you can take part in optional activities such as relaxing massages, hiking, mangrove tours, visiting the Aquarium, diving, snorkeling, and more.


Includes: Hotel-pier-hotel transfer, shared boat transfer (non-exclusive), welcome cocktail, lunch (entrance fee, main course, soft drink, and dessert), and dock tax.


Not included: Optional activities and consumption not mentioned.

Isla del Encanto: In the Rosario Islands National Park, located approximately 45 minutes by boat from Cartagena, you can enjoy the beach and social spaces designated for day tour visitors, which have chairs, lounge chairs, and sun loungers. You can, of course, participate in optional activities if you wish, or simply enjoy the Colombian Caribbean Sea in this area. During the day trip, you will enjoy a typical semi-buffet lunch. Served with fish, chicken, and meat options.

DAY 2 - BOGOTÁ (City tour with Monserrate): Breakfast. Today you will get to know the historic center of Bogotá, accompanied by one of our representatives, who will meet you in the hotel lobby to go to the city center. The walking tour begins at Plaza de Bolívar. DÍA 4 - CARTAGENA (Visita a la Ciudad con Castillo de San Felipe): A la hora acordada encuentro en el lobby del hotel con uno de nuestros representantes para iniciar un maravilloso recorrido por esta ciudad Museo cuyas calles y alrededores muestran el encanto de su arquitectura que mezcla lo colonial, republicano y moderno. Durante el recorrido pasará por la zona moderna de Bocagrande continuando por el barrio de Manga donde el contraste entre la arquitectura republicana y sus modernos edificios le sorprenderán, luego visitará el emblemático Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas, construido en 1657 y por supuesto, será imperdible realizar una breve caminata por “el centro histórico de la ciudad” que en 1984 junto con el Castillo de San Felipe y el conjunto de fortificaciones fueron incluidos por la UNESCO en la lista de Patrimonios de la Humanidad. Para finalizar el tour y antes de regresar a su hotel, aprovechando su estancia en el país productor de esmeraldas de mayor calidad a nivel mundial, visitará el Museo de la Esmeralda, allí conocerá la evolución del mineral más escaso, más valioso y a su vez, el más exclusivo del mundo.
